Why we are different: Mobile Physical Therapy
As a means to go beyond the current standard of physical therapy we are a mobile physical therapy service provider. We bring our expertise and equipment to your home, home gym, or office for your convenience. As a mobile provider we have the ability to work with you in your environment, where your problems are occurring, so that together we can make real changes! We will work with and communicate directly with your physician, coaches and family members when appropriate to facilitate optimal rehabilitation.
Why we are different: Specialists
All therapists at GoFit are board certified clinical specialists in Orthopaedics (OCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, certified orthopedic manual physical therapists (OMPT) and certified in myofascial trigger point dry needling (CMTPT).
We are movement specialists holding advanced certifications in orthopaedics, manual therapy, and trigger point dry needling. We believe in using manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercise, and enhancing movement patterns to rehab your athletic or orthopedic injuries
Why we are different: Individualized care
At GOfit Physical Therapy we are driven to provide the clients we serve with the best possible care. Physical therapy care is always provided one-on-one by a physical therapist. We do not use physical therapy techs or physical therapy assistants. Initial evaluations typically last an hour to an hour and a half in length while treatment sessions are typically one hour in length. This is likely three to four times the amount of care you will receive compared to an in-network insurance driven physical therapy practice. The patient first model allows each physical therapist at GOfit to maintain a caseload of approximately 25 clients from week to week. Physical therapists practicing in an insurance driven model will typically see 20 to 30 clients a day. What this really means is that physical therapists at GOfit not only have the time to spend with you during a treatment session, they also have the time to spend outside of a treatment session managing your care and developing the best possible treatment plan. This produces better results, faster.
